Brittany L. Jones is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Learning and Instruction at the University at Buffalo. Informed by her experiences as a high school social studies teacher and teacher educator, her work examines how the intersections of race, emotions, and discourse shape history and civic education instruction, curriculum, and research. Dr. Jones's work has been recognized by national organizations, including the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS).
