“The job of the writer is to make revolution irresistible.” – Toni Cade Bambara
Molly Mingo recently earned her M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Arkansas. Her academic interests center on developing inclusive pedagogies that embrace students from diverse cultural backgrounds and exploring the ways language shapes perception and experience, more specifically, ESL pedagogy for young learners. Soon to be based in South Korea, Molly is studying Korean language, deepening her cross-cultural understanding and expanding her communication skills in multilingual contexts.
While pursuing her graduate studies, and beyond, Molly works with the Community Literacies Collaboratory (CLC), where she manages digital content, creates public-facing materials, and helps design community-centered literacy programming.
Outside of academia, she’s an enthusiastic reader of fantasy and dystopian fiction, and enjoys fashion, interior design, travel, and exploring local coffee shops.
