About The Session
Dr. Eric Darnell Pritchard, Brown Chair in English Literacy at the University of Arkansas and Founding Director of the Community Literacies Collaboratory (CLC), hosts the opening session for the CLC’s 2025 Symposium.
Melissa McHenry will lead a libation for Black Feminist Ancestors.
Robyn Jordan from Her Set Her Sound will facilitate An Artist's Duty, which will incorporate cuts and teachings from Arkansas artists to engage the audience in discussions of creativity as a duty to community, craft, justice, and joy.
