“The job of the writer is to make revolution irresistible.” – Toni Cade Bambara
As a scholar, I work at the intersection of writing program and writing center administration, composition and race, and Indigenous rhetorics. My goal is to help composition practitioners incorporate place-based and Indigenous knowledges and methodologies into practice. My work has been featured in Praxis: A Writing Center Journal, The Peer Review, Journal of Teaching Writing and in several edited collections. I am also one of the co-editors of The Writing Center Journal. My current projects address 1) supporting inclusion through critically analyzing race in writing center and writing program administration, 2) developing pedagogies that support Indigenous and minority writers, 3) preventing erasure of minority voices by emergent writing technologies, and 4) theorizing a rhetoric of love.
