Bio
Reagan E. J. Jackson is the author of Still True: The Evolution of an Unexpected Journalist (Hinton Publishing 2024 ), three full length collections of poetry, and two children's books. As a journalist she has been a regular columnist for the South Seattle Emerald, the Seattle Globalist, and Crosscut. Jackson is currently at work on her debut YA novel and several short stories that center Black joy and happy endings for queer kids. In addition to writing, Jackson is a visual artist, podcast host and producer, facilitator, community organizer, ukulele player, and international educator continuously plotting on the ways in which Black women can recharge, reset, reimagine and rest.
